SCHMIDLI Creation and Design (SCAD) specialises in the design of products that utilize plastics and sheetmetal components with a major emphasis on electrical/electronic products.

SCAD can develop a whole product from concept through to production but often may only develop several or even one component of a total product or only carry out specific stages of a product development. This can be tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements.

Typically a total product development is divided into the following steps:
